Fischer is looking for a Mechanical Engineer – Quality Control (HVAC Appliances).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-process and final inspections of HVAC appliances to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
- Perform refrigeration system testing, including cooling performance evaluation, leak detection, and pressure testing.
- Review and verify technical drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks to ensure dimensional and design accuracy.
- Identify quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection reports, and SOPs.
- Support certification audits and participate in continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
- Coordinate with production and suppliers to ensure materials and components meet required standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in QC/QA within HVAC or home appliances (fresh graduates with relevant internships may apply).
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and thermodynamics.
- Practical knowledge of refrigeration systems, refrigeration cycles, and related testing procedures is mandatory.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks for technical drawing review and quality verification.
- Familiarity with quality tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA, root cause analysis).
- Proficient in precision measuring instruments and working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
- Good analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
