Job Description

DevTech Fusion is looking for a versatile WordPress & Shopify Developer with proven experience in custom development for both platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customise and maintain WordPress websites (themes, plugins, customPHP coding) for speed, performance and SEO.
  • Build and enhance Shopify stores using Liquid, including custom features andtheme development.
  • Convert Figma/PSD/UI designs into responsive, high-quality layouts.
  • Manage external backend servers (VMs), set up webhooks, and connect themwith Shopify for custom workflows.
  • Integrate APIs, webhooks, third-party services, and payment gateways.
  • Troubleshoot website issues and handle the full development lifecycle (setup to deployment) collaborating with content creators, designers, and project managers.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in WordPress and Shopify development with solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive UI/UX.
  • Proficient in Shopify Liquid coding and custom Shopify features.
  • Strong command of WordPress (custom themes, plugins, PHP), WordPress builders (Elementor, WPBakery).
  • Hands-on experience in managing backend servers (VMs), custom APIs, configuringwebhooks, and integrating external systems with Shopify.
  • Familiarity with hosting environments, cPanel, DNS, and basic servermanagement.
  • Understanding of performance optimisation and website security best practices with strong analytical and teamwork skills.
